Convergence’s founders, in the hopes of building greater awareness and support for the current hardships being endured by flood victims across the lower mainland and the rest of BC, are announcing that they have made donations towards the flood relief efforts of the Canadian Red CrossUnited Way BC, and The Salvation Army. The company will be matching these donations—and the donations of all of its employees—dollar-for-dollar, across all three emergency relief campaigns.

The proceeds of these monetary donations will go towards lending aid to those devastated by the catastrophic flooding and landslides that have destroyed homes, livelihoods and livestock. Thousands of British Columbians in the Coastal and Interior regions are struggling to rebuild their lives after losing their homes, and, for some, their businesses.

If you would like to support BC flood victims, please visit the following websites for more information:

The Canadian Red Cross is using the proceeds to help individuals and communities in the flood-affected areas to recover from one of BC’s worst floods and carry out risk-reduction activities.

United Way BC is supporting critical relief and recovery efforts for those who have lost their housing, belongings, and/or employment, as well as those who have suffered physical or mental health trauma due to the flood.

The Salvation Army is providing emergency flood relief to six of the hardest-hit communities across BC, providing food, shelter, and clothing to both first responders and evacuees.
