Challenges
Taymor required a modern, bespoke ecommerce platform that doubled as its corporate website and product directory. Thousands of SKUs differentiated by regions, languages and other variations required a sophisticated infrastructure and CMS integration strategy.
How we helped
A multi-environment AWS-based cloud infrastructure was architected and deployed, with a DevOps pipeline established to facilitate high velocity product iterations. Sophisticated data modeling and data migrations populated the back CMS, and an OpenSearch performance search mechanism provided complex search functionality against a vast product catalog. A responsive, Next/React web application provides users with a beautiful, modern experience on any device format.
Architecture workflow
Fintel Connect also needed a way to better communicate two important products to their customers: Fintel Performance, an end-to-end solution to manage your performance marketing partnerships, and Fintel Check, an AI-driven partner monitoring and compliance tool which protects customers' brands and keeps their partners compliant.
Data migration
To guarantee a complete and accurate product data catalog for launch, Convergence partnered with Taymor to migrate thousands of SKUs and variations from an Enterprise platform into the CMS supporting the new web application. This effort involved the creation of an interim SQL database, the crafting of data models and their associated mappings, and careful execution of the complex data migration scripts.
The results
Taymor's new web platform was deployed to production after receiving final corporate approval. The launch was a success, and the high performance Taymor.com web property now services users across North America.
